Craniosacral Fascial Therapy for babies and children
Babies can experience many forms of trauma in-utero and during the birthing process that can contribute to fascial restrictions in the first few days of life. These traumas are often due to a cramped position of the baby in the womb, an unusually long labor process, or the use of medical interventions such as forceps or vacuums. Colic, difficulty latching, poor suck-swallow-breathe reflex, torticollis, and reflux may all be indications of fascial restrictions in newborns. CFT will allow the baby’s brain and body to function at its optimal capacity through gentle unwinding and releasing of the fascial restrictions.
