About Blue Nyle Therapy Services
Nyle MacFarlane, MS, OTR/L—President & CEO

Nyle MacFarlane received her Masters in Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science from Towson University in 2008. She founded Blue Nyle Therapy Services in 2008 and has worked in a variety of adult and pediatric settings, including acute care hospitals, home healthcare settings, and an innovative gymnastics therapeutic program. In 2010, she partnered with a fitness facility in Bethesda, MD to establish a pediatric Occupational Therapy clinic.
She found her life's calling when she attended her first John F. Barnes Myofascial Release seminar in 2009. She is uniquely trained to work with children and adults by using a combination of therapeutic interventions that include sensory integration therapy, therapeutic taping, positional release/ muscle energy, neurodevelopmental treatment, myofascial release, and cranial sacral fascial therapy. Her work with newborns and infants has proven effective in addressing issues often associated with birthing trauma, which include reflux and breastfeeding difficulties.
In addition to her work as an occupational therapist, she is the mother of two remarkable girls, MacKenna and Siobhan. While being a mother of two young girls allows for very little personal time, she strives for a healthy balance between work and family life with her passion for meditation, bicycling, and yoga.
